The Knitscene Fall 2011 issue is on newsstands; in fact, I'm on my way to Borders to get my copy right now. It has lots of cute patterns, including three of Amy's beautiful sweaters designed for specific body types. Check out the Knitscene preview to learn more.My personal favorite: Elisabeth Parker's Charlemont Cardigan, the perfect sweater for a bottom-heavy girl like me. I've even got some royal blue Cascade 220 in my stash that was just made this cardi. Now all I have to do is make it!

Oh, Julie! Congratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool to see your name in a national (and international) magazine!
And you've been keeping this a secret!?!
I'm so happy I could jump up and down (well maybe not that!) but I'm really HAPPY!!!
Love you, Pat :-) you're always so wonderful to me...thank you!
ReplyDeleteWell done girl, you know I'm proud of you! Keep up the brilliant work. xxx
ReplyDeleteJulie--
ReplyDeleteI fell in love with the Charlemont Cardigan too!

hi! thank you for your compliments about my charlemont cardigan!
ReplyDeletei am really excited that your profile of amy herzog, and her article on shaping were in this issue! i infrequently write shaping into my patterns because it's something i view as incredibly personal, but, after taking amy's class a few months after finishing this pattern, i wished i had made a note encouraging people to add some to this sweater! what a happy accident that this information is readily available in the same magazine :)
