Knitting at Large meet-up!

Okay! We have the details about the inaugural Knitting at Large meetup. Consider this your formal invitation!

WHO: You and a bunch of other glorious and intrepid Knitting at Large members

WHAT: A lively get-together where we’ll meet and greet, share our knitting projects, and exchange hints and tips. We’re also providing a measurement clinic (thank you, Debbie for the excellent suggestion). We will take measurements and talk about making modifications for your particular body, if you’re interested. If you’re not, no worry! You can watch or knit.

WHEN: Saturday, November 12 from 1:00 to 4:00.

We’d love to have you there for the whole time if you have the time. But please, come and go as you please. This is an informal get-together and we will NOT be taking roll!

WHERE:

Panera Bread
10059 Jefferson Davis Highway (right off 95 at Route 17)
Fredericksburg, VA 22407
(540) 710-8993
Get directions

WHY: Because we have so much fun in our Rav group, it’s time to meetup!

Visit the Rav Knitting at Large board to learn more or to discuss plans for this event.

I’ll be there and I hope you will be, too!

  1. Arrrggg! If only I didn't live in the midwest! This sounds like a great time and the measurement clinic is an inspired idea. I'll ask if I my husband is willing to change jobs so we can move closer to VA so I can attend...just kidding. Sure wish I could be there.

I know you'll have a great time getting to know each other and sharing tips.

  2. Waaaah! I live on the east coast but that's still a very far way to drive. But I'll be with you in spirit!
The other get-together at Kathy Z's was sooooo much fun!

  3. Ann, I'm sorry you won't be able to attend - we'll miss you! But next year we're thinking about doing a weekend retreat with lots of classes and lots of knitting. Hopefully you'll be able to come then. Stay tuned for details because I don't have any yet. Thanks, as always, for reading and participating!

  5. You know I'll be there!

I'm really looking forward to meeting my plus sized sisters, and to see if this blossoms into something wonderful and lasting. Onward and upward! Thanks, Julie, and ALL my knitting sisters for the opportunity to know you better.

    Cheers,
    Nicki
